FaySummer offers campers in pre-school (age 3) through grade 9 a host of enrichment experiences consistent with the quality and values of Fay School. Our expert teachers and caring counselors provide an engaging, safe, and nurturing environment that allows participants to try new activities, find new talents, and make new friends!
How can you spend your summer at Fay? Check this out:
Day Camp is the foundation of our summer program, where campers take part in a traditional camp day that features age-appropriate camp activities that include swimming, outdoor adventures, sports, and the arts.
Specialty Camps are open to older campers who want to pursue a hobby or interest in more depth. Campers choose from a wide array of weeklong day camps that offer a half-day focus on one topic coupled with a half-day of traditional camp activities.
Academic Adventures is a two-week, day or overnight academic enrichment program where campers participate in morning academic workshops and afternoon electives, in addition to traditional summer camp activities that include swimming, crafts, and time on our outdoor adventure challenge course. On the weekends, Academic Adventure campers leave campus and go on trips to various New England locations.
All of our programs are led by professional educators and take place on Fay’s 66-acre campus. Our state-of-the-art facilities include two outdoor heated swimming pools, top-notch indoor and outdoor athletic facilities, an expansive outdoor adventure challenge course, a spacious dining hall, and air-conditioned classrooms and indoor spaces. We pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of experiences and camp offerings that provide optimal fun for campers in an environment that makes families feel comfortable and confident. Fay Summer has something for everyone!

The high quality of our summer program is built on the high quality of our counselors, teachers, specialists, unit leaders, and dorm parents. Our team is composed of Fay’s faculty and staff, teachers from the local community, professionals in their fields, and college students with experience working with children. Our staff’s experience, professional skills, and passion for working with young people create a summer full of meaningful and enriching experiences.
FaySummer takes place on Fay School’s 66-acre campus in Southborough, Massachusetts. Students have access to all of the school’s state-of-the-art facilities, including two pools, athletic fields, tennis courts, gyms, indoor rock climbing wall, outdoor adventure course, theater, visual arts center, and Innovation Lab for our “makers.”
At FaySummer, safety is of primary importance. Our staff participates in extensive training in preparation for their work with campers. Low camper-to-staff ratios make quality supervision possible at all times. Swimming instructors are lifeguard certified, and camp staff are trained in first aid and CPR. FaySummer also has a nurse on staff each day.
Campers eat meals together in Fay’s dining rooms, and fostering good nutrition is a key component of our program. All meals are prepared on campus by Sage Dining Services, a nationally recognized company that provides dining services to independent schools and colleges around the country, Sage’s meals are made from scratch with high quality ingredients, with an emphasis on local sourcing and environmental sustainability. Sage also offers multiple choices for our culturally diverse community at every meal. Ingredients and nutrition information is available on Sage's website.
Day campers have the option of purchasing a lunch each day for $5, or they can choose to bring a lunch from home. Lunches are posted each week and include an entrée, drink, access to the salad bar, and dessert. For overnight campers, the cost of meals is included in the camp fee.
Please note: FaySummer is peanut free, and campers should not bring in any food that may contain peanut products.
We want families to be part of our summer community too! Unit leaders are available every day to ensure effective home-camp communication, and they send home regular updates so parents and campers can discuss the day’s activities.
Extended morning care is available from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. for an additional cost of $50 per week, and extended afternoon care is available from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. for an additional cost of $75 per week.
