FaySummer's Distance Learning English Intensive is designed for international students ages 10 to 15 who are interested in improving their English speaking, writing, and reading skills.
Offered as a four-week concentrated course, our program offers a combination of daily live sessions, pre-recorded lessons, graded assignments, and hands-on activities. Courses are led by Fay teachers who are experts in English language instruction and distance learning.
The FaySummer Distance Learning English Intensive is an ideal setting for students to improve English skills and learn about American culture and customs through daily classroom instruction, careful guidance, and targeted feedback.
The Program At the beginning of the session, teachers assess each student’s skill level and place him or her into one of three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. At each level, students focus on improving fluency and developing the necessary skills to become a successful language learner.
Students enrolled in the FaySummer Distance Learning English Intensive take academic classes each day which include both live sessions and pre-recorded activities. Students should plan to set aside approximately 4 hours per day for class time and independent work.
Throughout the session, teachers continually assess student progress and send home regular updates. Teachers also provide an end-of-term written report on each student’s progress.
