Day Programs
Spotlight Camps (Grades 6-9)

Athletic Spotlight Camps

Spotlight Camps are for students entering grades 6-9 who are interested in a full-day athletic camp. As fully immersive programs, the camps are designed to build upon existing skills and interests, all in a fun and supportive setting.

FaySummer Spotlight Camps are led by experienced coaches with a demonstrated expertise in their sport. All camps take place on Fay's 66-acre campus, which includes ten full-size fields, an indoor turf field, a baseball diamond and a softball diamond with three batting cages, four basketball courts, a fitness center, tennis courts, and more.

All FaySummer Spotlight Camps must have a minimum enrollment to run. If a program has low enrollment, campers will be able to transfer to another Spotlight Camp or another FaySummer program.

2024 Athletic Camps

List of 5 items.

  • Golf Camp (July 8-12)

Join Fay’s golf coach and faculty member Joe Buteau for this intensive golf program. During the week, four mornings will be spent at the Juniper Hill Golf Course joining the club pros for their program. During the rest of the time, campers will be at Fay or other local courses and facilities and will dedicate their time to working on specific skills. Campers will cover putting, chipping, full swing, on-course instruction, etiquette, rules of golf, and more. We’ll use video analysis, training aids, and fun games to develop campers into better players. Bring clubs if you have them, but if you don’t they will be provided. What better way to spend a week this summer?
  • Fencing Camp (July 15-19)

During this Spotlight Camp, campers will be taught the basic skills of fencing: footwork, blade moves, safety, and the foundations of strategic thinking by instructors from Zeta Fencing. They also will learn about the three disciplines of modern fencing (épée, foil, sabre) and will focus on fencing with Olympic-style sabres. On the last day, campers will compete in an in-house tournament on fully equipped fencing strips with Olympic-standard electric scoring equipment.
  • Tennis Camp (July 22-26)

After years of great camps, FaySummer has once again partnered with the Waterfall Tennis Academy, directed by Coach Waterfall, for our summer tennis program. Each day will focus on stroke fundamentals, match play, fast-paced drills, and exciting games. Campers will benefit from great coaching staff, fun games, and a safe environment, all on Fay’s campus.
Campers will be divided into groups based on age and skill level.
  • Baseball Camp (August 5-9)

FaySummer has partnered with Runbirds Baseball, one of New England's premier baseball development program for young players, to offer a one-week camp that will cover all areas of the game. Get ready to work on batting, pitching, infield/outfield, throwing mechanics, base running, as well as plenty of games! This camp is open to boys and girls looking to advance their baseball skills this summer.
Campers will be divided into groups based on age and skill level.
  • Multi-Sport Olympic Camp (August 12-16)

The second most anticipated event of the summer (behind FaySummer of course) is the Olympics! Join F.A.S.T. Athletics on Fay's campus to spend a week playing various sports in honor of the Paris Olympics. Fay has both outdoor and indoor fields allowing campers to play different sports every day, whether it’s taking part in some of your favorites or trying something new. All coaches are experts in youth coaching and will deliver fun filled sessions each day.
