Classic Day Camp (Age 3 - Grade 6)
Day Camp for Pre-School (Age 3) - Grade 6 in Southborough, MA
FaySummer Day Camp, for children ages 3 through entering grade 6, features busy days full of fun activities with opportunities to explore new things, discover new talents, and create new memories. Campers are grouped by grade and follow a weekly schedule that offers activities to suit every camper’s interests. Younger campers have a more structured schedule, while older campers have increased privileges and more choice in their daily activities. All campers will have the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities, including sports and games, arts and crafts, time on our outdoor adventure challenge course, and time in our pools.

Classic Day Camp Groups
Discoverers (Entering Pre-School - Kindergarten)
With small groups, low camper-to-counselor ratios, and a safe, structured environment, Discoverers have the opportunity to try new things while developing new friendships. This program is led by a Fay School Kindergarten teacher who is experienced with young children and trained to meet their individual needs.
The Discoverers program is designed to keep pace with the energy of young children and incorporates fun, enrichment-based activities that build gross- and fine-motor skills, as well as social skills.
Discoverers are grouped by age for their daily activities and have a consistent routine designed to build camper confidence in a comfortable environment. Some of their daily activities include swim lessons and downtime after lunch to recharge.
Discovers have the option of attending FaySummer for a half-day from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Campers must be 3 years old and toilet trained by the start of camp.
Explorers (Entering Grades 1-2) and Trailblazers (Entering Grades 3-4)
Our Explorer and Trailblazer programs provide structure as well as variety for campers who are beginning to be more independent. Our nurturing and child-centered environment with low camper-to-counselor ratios offers support, encouragement, and guidance throughout the day as campers build friendships and develop new skills.
Navigators (Entering Grades 5-6)
Our Navigators programs focus on developing camper independence and leadership through choice and the pursuit of individual interests. With the appropriate blend of structure and freedom, this program is designed to complement the interests and developmental needs of our campers. Our experienced counselors are on hand to provide guidance and a supportive social environment as campers build friendships.
For this age group, FaySummer also offers Specialty Camps for campers entering grades 2-6, Spotlight Camps for campers entering grades 6-9, and Voyager Camp for campers entering grades 6-9.
Day Camp Activities
Here’s a sampling of just a few of the activities we’ve offered to program participants in previous years. We plan each week carefully to ensure a healthy variety of experiences, particularly for campers who spend the whole summer with us. As a result, not all activities are offered every week to every age group.
