  • Sam Renshaw - Camp Director

    Sam directed his first summer camp in New England in 2007 and brings with him vast experience running youth programming across three continents. Sam is the Director of Auxiliary Programs at Fay School, delivering the Fay After School program, Early Morning Care, Enrichment Clubs, and Vacation Programs throughout the school year. He is dedicated to ensuring that FaySummer is a fun, enriching, and memorable experience for every single camper that attends. 
  • Taylor Macpherson – Discoverers Leader

    Taylor is returning to FaySummer for her ninth summer. During the school year, Taylor serves as a teacher at Fay’s Early Learning Center, a dorm parent for Fay’s boarding community, and an afterschool associate for Fay After School (FAS). Two years ago, Taylor completed her master’s degree in elementary education at Northeastern University. She loves that FaySummer has something to offer for each child, at every level!
  • Willa Gustavson – Explorers Leader

    Willa is thrilled to be joining the Unit Leader team this summer! During the school year, Willa teaches second and third grade at Rectory School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Stanford University and a Master of Science in Elementary Education from Northwestern University. This will be Willa's ninth year with FaySummer. Willa’s favorite part of camp is watching children challenge themselves to overcome obstacles, whether in the pool, at the climbing wall, or at the lunch table. 
  • Kelsey O’Hare – Specialty Camps Leader

    Kelsey is thrilled to return to FaySummer for her tenth summer. She has held many roles at FaySummer, including Music and Movement specialist, counselor, dorm parent, and Afternoon Care Coordinator. During the school year, Kelsey works as an elementary school music teacher in Framingham and holds a Master of Music in Music Education from Boston University. She also enjoys being involved with the Fay community year-round by working at Fay After School. Kelsey looks forward to FaySummer every year for all the fun and lasting memories it brings! 
  • Lauren Dayotas - Trailblazers, Navigators, and Pathfinders Leader

    Lauren is returning to FaySummer for her twelfth season. She loves to see the returning campers each year and watch them grow through the program! During the school year, Lauren works in the Southborough Schools and at Fay School as a Fay After School Associate. Lauren holds a Master in Early Childhood Education from American International College. 
  • Paul Abeln - English Immersion Coordinator

    Paul has worked in several of Fay's Academic Camps abroad and has served as English Department Chair for eight years before beginning his newer position as Director of Alumni and International Relations.  He has taught English from grades six through nine at Fay, and has helped coordinate the English Language Program. Paul is excited to work with international students to help them build their academic skills and fluency while experiencing all FaySummer has to offer!
  • Andrew Barker - Summer Residential Life Coordinator

    Andrew is excited to be joining the FaySummer team this year! This will be his sixth summer working at a residential independent school summer camp. Andrew is an Upper School history teacher, dorm parent, and coaches wrestling and boys lacrosse at Fay during the school year. His focus is on making Fay a second home for all campers by creating a welcoming, accepting, and safe environment. He is eager for all the FaySummer campers to try a plethora of activities and meet new people! Andrew holds a bachelor's from the University of Minnesota in sports management and a bachelor's and master's from Bridgewater State University in history and educational leadership.
  • Dan Blanchard - Academic Adventures Coordinator

    This will be Dan’s fourteenth year at FaySummer! He has his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Providence College and has been a member of the Fay School faculty since 2006. In addition to teaching at Fay during the school year, he serves as the Safety Marshall, a dorm parent, and a coach for soccer and track. During previous summers, Dan has led the FaySummer outdoor adventure program, and he is excited about his new role as Academic Adventures Coordinator.
  • Sam Engvall - Outdoor Adventures Coordinator

    Sam is a long-time FaySummer counselor, starting his summer camp career here in 2016. He has always worked on the FaySummer adventure course, belaying students and making sure every camper can have a safe and fun time. He loves to watch campers grow upon their climbing skills and gain confidence.
  • Alyssa Fucci - Aquatic Director

    Alyssa is excited to be joining FaySummer for her tenth year as our Aquatics Director! She has been working in aquatics for over fifteen years. Alyssa's favorite part of camp is teaching campers of all ages to learn how to be safe around water and gain confidence in their swimming abilities. Alyssa and her team create lessons and activities that enable each swimmer to feel safe and have fun while learning a lifelong skill. Alyssa currently teaches third grade in Watertown, MA, but she has previous worked at Fay as a dorm parent and in the after-school program. She holds a degree in Biology and Science Education from Lesley University.
  • Jack Wong - Sports & Games Coordinator

    Jack is a graduate of Boston College and serves as Fay's PE teacher for the Early Learning Center and the Primary School. Jack is also a volleyball and basketball coach at Fay. He enjoys working with kids and believes that every child has the ability to excel in sports given the correct environment.
